More Blessing Pictures

Blessing day

Yesterday was Brooklyn's baby blessing. We had all the family down to celebrate this wonderful day. Thanks to all who came down from Utah and Arizona. Here is a picture of all who was there.

My brother in law Vinnie brought down his good camera and captured these shots of brooklyn while at her luncheon.

We just love her so much. Look at those chunky cheeks.

Oh and thanks to my sister Lindsay who is so crafty she made Brooklyn's bow and headband along with 20 more thanks so much I am going to have alot of fun matching a bow with every outfit. I dont have a picture of her in her blessing dress cause my other Brother in law Mark brought down his fancy camera too and was taking the pictures at church so Lindsay if you look at this post can you please email me all the pictures so I can do another post with Brooklyn in her dress.

3 Year Anniversary

Today was our 3 year wedding anniversary and we were able to get out for the evening with baby in tow. We went to The Cheesecake Factory it was so good. Here is a few pictures of the evening.

A lady came up to us and said oh this must be the first time out with the baby let me take your picture, to bad I was so concerned about getting the food out of my teeth. Oh well. Well we have survived two weeks home with the baby. I can't believe how fast time is flying. After dinner we went to Sam's club to pick up diapers wipes and formula. WOW. Your life really does change once you have kids. Well it was a wonderful anniversary. I am so happy I have eternity with my Family.

Well as you guys have all been waiting for, details. So on Tuesday Aug. 11, 2009 I checked in to the hospital at 8:00pm. They stared me on a cervix softener the whole night and nothing really happened except I dilated to 2cm. The next morning around 8:00am they started me on pitocin(if that's how you spell it) and then the Dr. came in and broke my water(which was the weirdest feeling) after that things started happening so fast the contractions came closer together and so much more stronger. Around 12:00pm I couldn't take the pain any longer so I got an epidural, about that time I was dilated to 4 cm. After the epidural kicked in I got to take a nap for two hrs until I woke up in pain and feeling so sick. First thing I thought is, you are not supposed to feel anything once you get the epidural, and i was feeling every contraction, second, I felt so sick I had to throw up(which I did). So i called the nurse to see what was going on, once she came in she checked me and was like oh my gosh you are already 8cm dilated so she said I will come back in and 1 1/2 hr to check you again. Well 30 min went by and I felt so much pressure like I needed to push. So I called the nurse back in to see what was going on. She came in and checked me again and she said ok you are ready to push I was already 10 +2 cm dilated. Every thing happened so fast I couldn't believe that it was already time to push I was so anxious and nervous to finally get to see the little princess I have been carrying in me for 9 months. Well after a whole hr of pushing Brooklyn Jane arrived at 4:43pm.

Brooklyn Jane arrived August 12, 2009 at 4:43pm. She weighed 8lb 1oz and was 20 inch long. She is a healthy beautiful baby. My computer is not letting me post pictures on the blog so i will try to post later or you could go check her out on my sisters blog "Brod Family."

I'm Being Induced Finally

Today I had a Doctor appointment, and the Dr. finally decided he will induce me. So I go into the hospital tomorrow night at 8pm. Baby will probably not be here till late Wednesday. So check back later for picture updates.

I am so grateful to be part of this loving family. Everyone always asks, "How is it growing up with all girls, I bet you always faught alot?" But thats not true I can not remember a time where we were ever mad at each other. We were always so close and still are to this day even though some live far.
